Providing Access to Clean Water in Liberia Imagine having to walk two to three miles just to fetch water. For many in Liberia, this is a daily reality, as access to safe, clean drinking water is severely limited. Before the official launch of CLCY, its founder and early team members installed freshwater pumps in communities around Careysburg. These pumps were a crucial step towards providing a better quality of life. Each hand pump, costing approximately $1,200 depending on the location, ensures that residents have reliable access to safe, clean drinking water. At CLCY, we believe that clean drinking water is fundamental to good health and a longer life. |
